Soft Body Hard Gaze duo exhibition

In 2023, Good Sport and MFF joined forces to host a unique opportunity, pairing an artist from Montreal, Quebec, with one from London, Ontario. Over the past six months, Pascale Jean and Jeremie Rose Wimbrow have collaborated on "Soft Body, Hard Gaze," an exhibition that explores the intersection of bodily softness and sexual realities with the analytical gaze on objectification and identity in the digital era. Through their distinct approaches, the artists transform the personal into the relational, inviting viewers to contemplate their own embodied experiences in both material and virtual realms.

The vernissage will be held at Good Sport (402.5 Richmond St. Upper Left, London, Ontario, N6A 3C7) on May 3, 2024, from 7 to 9 pm. Showings will continue every Saturday from 12 to 4 pm.

We're thrilled to unite these two artists in one shared space and extend our gratitude to Monica Joy (Good Sport Resident Artist) for their dedicated efforts in facilitating this collaboration.
